Gina Gow
Ceramicist
I start projects with the question, how can I recreate that shape, texture or technique? I’m excited by the path from lump of clay to final form especially if it’s by way of challenge and resolution, and often take clay with me on my travels. I grew up in Guyana, South America where artists had much to inspire them. The women of my family were resourceful and artistic and my mother was an accomplished ceramist. My own ceramic adventure started more recently and I am loving the process and exploration.
