The first exhibition David Benefer appeared in was the New Contemporaries at the ICA in London whilst he was an art stu-dent. His artwork continues to explore a range of media and ap-proaches as he creates still images with a lasting resonance. The artworks describe, translate, suggest and express. They encourage close observation. This looking enables each of us to explore the different paths our thoughts take us on and the way nothing stays the same not even a still picture.
