Dot’s artistic journey is an inspiring testament to the power of starting anew.  Having begun attending art classes after retirement, Dot has embraced her passion for creating art, developing a unique style and voice.

Dot primarily works with pastels, utilising their soft texture and vibrant colours to bring her artistic vision to life.  However she also dabbles in oil painting, showcasing her versatility as an artist.

The beauty of nature serves as Dot’s primary muse.  From captivating still life to semi-abstracted landscapes, her work reflects a deep appreciation for the flora, fauna and landscapes that surround her.

Dot strives to push boundaries and experiment with new techniques, always aiming to “communicate effectively through art”.
