Angus has taken up oil painting in retirement. He is fascinated by field, tree and other patterns in the landscape in differing lights, seasons and times of day. He spends much of his time in Suffolk with its big skies and wild marshes and estuaries. He also enjoys the discipline of painting still life and recreating the colours and shapes of every day objects.
