ALDEBURGH ART TRAIL

About Aldeburgh Art Trail 2026

Welcome to the Aldeburgh Art Trail 2026!

This year we have a name change – Aldeburgh Art Trail

Every year, artists in Aldeburgh open their venues to the public, showcasing a diverse range of art – painting, photography, printing, jewellery, pottery, 3D printing and mixed media. All artworks are available for purchase.

This year, 37 artist/makers in 20 hubs, will be showcasing their work in venues throughout the centre of Aldeburgh, from North to South.

The venues are conveniently located within walking distance, with cafes, pubs, and hotels along the way. This event offers a unique chance to meet the artists in their creative spaces, where they are eager to discuss their work, influences, inspirations, and techniques. Many visitors return year after year to acquire one-of-a-kind pieces of art.

For all information on the Trail and how to join please contact the co-organisers –

Louise Sant & David Gillingwater – details are on the Contact page.

Booklets containing information about the participating artists and their work will be available from numerous outlets in Aldeburgh, and from the Jubilee Hall where we will be hosting the Preview Show for the first time.

Alternatively, you can visit our website – www.aldeburghstudiotrail.co.uk for detailed profiles of each artist, along with stunning images and a Google map indicating their locations.

There is no entry fee for visiting the venues, and all are welcome between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The trail was founded in 2013 by Reet Gilday and Lamorna Good, who were inspired by the abundance of talented artists in the area. Some of the trail artists will be hosting additional events outside of the trail weekends. These events may include talks, private views, and demonstrations of their artistic skills. Stay up to date by following our social media pages or visiting the NEWS section of our website for details.

There are various car parks in the centre of Aldeburgh at Oakley Square, in King Street and Fort Green and at the Parish Church and Thorpe Road.

“We hope you will enjoy this opportunity to connect with the artists who draw inspiration from Aldeburgh and its unique atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you to our venues.”

Finally, a huge thank you to all our sponsors for their continued support over the years.
